Sample Sites

Here are some sample web sites where Insight Solutions (IS) has done work for our clients:

Truth Sets Us Free
This is an example of a very simple web site design. There is nothing exotic about the web site. No sophistication features are used on this site since the client is hosting the site on a free web hosting service which have very limited capabilities. 

Innovative Technologies Group (ITG)
An IS consultant performed the following work on the site: 

• Registered the domain for the client.

• Selected the web hosting company for the site.

• Designed the overall site layout and populated the initial pages for the site. Then turned the web page development and web site maintenance over to the client.

• Recommended a merchant account and payment gateway for the client.

• Developed some data entry forms to capture input from an ITG customer. ITG can download the results of the forms and import them into it's Access database.

• The site has a shopping cart which has been customized using Perl. The shopping cart was recommended by IS after analyzing the clients needs and reviewing a number of products. An IS consultant installed the shopping carts software and then did the initial set up including entering the information on the products (product ID, name, description, pictures, etc). The shopping cart allows customers to pay for their purchases using a credit card. The IS consultant integrated the shopping cart with the credit card payment gateway.

• The site has some pages which allow ITG customers to pay for single product purchases using either a credit cards or PayPal.

• The site has a page which allows ITG customers to display their customer record. This page was developed by an IS consultant using PHP and it retrieves the data from a mySQL database table.

Various Sites
Most of these web sites (myfavoriteclub.com, hi-techclub.com, smartsupply.biz) was developed by another party. However, an IS consultant did perform the following work:

• The site has some custom data entry forms to capture input from an club customer. These entry forms were developed in PHP and do extensive editing on the data before it is accepted  club downloads the results of these entry forms and imports it into their database.

• The site has a shopping cart which has been customized using PHP. The shopping cart was recommended by IS after analyzing the clients needs and reviewing a number of products. An IS consultant installed the shopping carts software and then did the initial set up including entering all the information on all the products. The shopping cart allows customers to pay for their purchases using a credit card. The consultant integrated the shopping cart with the credit card payment gateway.

• The site has a pages which allow club customers to pay for their membership using a credit card.
